What we install

Every floor in the house. And the details around it.

Four specialties, one crew — including the stair nosing everyone else orders off a shelf. We build it, then we fit it.

Hardwood & engineered

Solid and engineered plank, glue-down or nail-down, on a flat, moisture-checked subfloor — quiet and tight for decades.

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)

High-quality luxury vinyl plank for remodels and rentals that need waterproof floors. Straight lines, tight seams.

Custom stair nosing

Treads built from your actual flooring — nose and step reinforced, squared off, and glued into one solid piece. Our signature, and the reason builders call us.

Flush vents & finish details

Floor vents inlaid flush with the plank, matched transitions — plus custom beams, ceiling features and brass inlays when the design asks for more.

A custom install vs. a rushed one

Most floors fail at the edges — stairs, vents, transitions. Here's the honest side-by-side of where the difference lives.

Who we are

A Portland install crew that treats flooring like fine carpentry.

Grand Com is a family-run flooring company out of Portland, Oregon. We install for custom-home builders, remodelers, and homeowners across Oregon and Washington — and we're known for the custom details most installers order out of a catalog.

  • Licensed both sides of the river. Oregon CCB #215744 and Washington GRANDCL832MR, both active since 2017.
  • Bonded and insured. $25,000 bond and $1,000,000 in liability coverage — on file with the state, not just on a flyer.
  • Materials too. We stock and sell quality LVP, hardwood, stair noses and vents through our supply arm — one call covers material and install.
More about us

Q&A

Asked before every job

What exactly is custom stair nosing?
The nose is the edge piece on each step — most installers buy a factory strip in a color that's "close," and it never quite matches. We build ours from your actual flooring: the nose is reinforced, squared off to a clean custom edge, and glued to the flat of the step, so the whole tread goes down as one solid piece.
Do you supply the flooring, or just install it?
Both. We install material you've already picked, and we also stock and sell quality LVP, hardwood, stair noses and flush vents ourselves — one call can cover material and labor.
What areas do you serve?
Oregon and Washington — most of our work is in the Portland–Vancouver metro. Not sure you're in range? Call or text (360) 909-1025.
How does a quote work?
Send the basics through the quote form — rooms, rough square footage, photos if you have them. We follow up by call or text, walk the site when the project needs it, and give you a clear written number. No "sign today" pricing.

Let's put a real number on your floor.
